Starting July 1st 2018, and until the 30 of June 2019, the ICRI Secretariat is hosted by the Principality of Monaco. The initiative will be jointly co-chaired by Monaco, Australia and Indonesia until mid-2020. The hand over ceremony was held on July 4th, in Paris (view the programme of the event).

The first General Meeting, under the current chairmanship, was held held in Monaco, from 5-7 December 2018. A one-day workshop on “innovative funding for coral reefs” (to follow-up the recent release on of report on innovations for coral finance) was also organized: www.icriforum.org/ICRIGM33
